E-Straat – Retrofit On-Street EV Charging

Rolling out public EV charging is a priority for local authorities and charge point operators, but installing new street furniture brings cost, disruption and planning complexity.

The E-Straat offers a different approach. Designed to retrofit onto most existing lampposts and lighting columns, it enables on-street charging infrastructure using power supplies already in place.

Rapid rollout, minimal disruption

The E-Straat mounts directly onto 140mm, 168mm and 194mm diameter columns, with alternative adaptor plates available for other sizes. This allows councils and CPOs to scale residential and urban charging networks without extensive civil works.

At just 130mm x 130mm x 400mm and 5kg, the compact aluminium housing minimises visual impact on the streetscape while delivering an IK10 impact rating for durability in public spaces.

Built for public sector deployment

Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity are included as standard, with 36 months of data provided. OCPP 1.6J compliance ensures integration with all major charge point management systems, while a certified MID meter supports accurate billing.

Elexon approved and fully compliant with UK regulations. Custom colour options and branding are available to match local streetscape requirements.

3-year warranty with the option to extend to 5 years.
