E-Via City – Compact EV Charging with Integrated Lighting

TRT Lighting has launched the E-Via City, a slimline EV charging pillar that combines dual charging sockets with professional-grade LED lighting in a single, space-efficient unit.

Designed for commercial, fleet and public charging applications, the E-Via City delivers up to 22kW per socket while providing 360° illumination around the charging point. Precision optics for uniform ground lighting ensure users can connect safely after dark, while less than 2% upward light supports dark-sky considerations.

Built for public spaces

Constructed from marine-grade powder-coated aluminium with an IK10 impact rating, the E-Via City is engineered for durability in high-traffic environments. Its compact 165mm diameter footprint makes it suitable for locations where space is at a premium.

Flexible and scalable

Static and dynamic load management allows up to 40 sockets to operate from a single grid connection, making the E-Via City well suited to phased rollouts and growing charging demand. Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G connectivity are included as standard, with OCPP 1.6J compliance ensuring seamless integration with back-office systems.

Accessible and future-ready

Fully PAS 1899 compliant, the E-Via City meets current accessibility requirements for public charging infrastructure. Option for MID-certified metering in readiness to support evolving operational and regulatory needs.
