Energy-Efficient Road Lighting Delivered for Hortonwood Commercial Park

TRT Lighting has supported Telford & Wrekin Council with a new road lighting scheme at Hortonwood, a recently developed commercial park requiring safe, reliable illumination for its access roads.

Working in partnership with Prysmian Contractors, TRT designed and supplied a lighting solution using its newly launched Aspect Gen2 luminaire. The design process confirmed that Aspect Gen2 would deliver higher efficiency and lower running costs than its predecessor, without compromising on lighting performance. This enabled the Council to meet its energy and sustainability objectives from day one.

A total of 20 Aspect Gen2 lanterns were installed, carefully selected to integrate with the local surroundings. Each unit was supplied at 3000K CCT to provide comfortable illumination for road users while supporting visual amenity.

Designed for modern public-sector lighting, Aspect Gen2 introduces a range of new features to improve installation, maintenance, and long-term durability.
