TRT Lighting has relaunched its illuminated handrail offering under a new name, Altura, marking the next step in the evolution of a well-established and trusted product range.

The Altura name brings a clearer identity to the illuminated handrail range, while retaining the engineering quality, performance and reliability customers already know. Alongside the rebrand, TRT Lighting has refined and condensed the range to focus on its most popular and proven handrail designs, making specification simpler and more efficient for designers, contractors and end users.

Manufactured in the UK from durable 316-grade stainless steel, Altura is designed for both internal and external environments, including public realm, transport infrastructure, education, leisure and commercial settings. The system combines robust construction with integrated LED lighting to improve safety, visibility and user confidence after dark, without compromising on aesthetics.
