Altura Range Expands with New Control Gear Enclosures

TRT Lighting has expanded its Altura illuminated handrail offering with the introduction of a new range of Control Gear Enclosures, providing a dedicated solution for housing drivers, emergency components and lighting controls.

Designed specifically to complement Altura illuminated handrail installations, the new enclosures help simplify project delivery where lighting systems are integrated into bridges, ramps, stairways and public realm environments.

Available in standard, emergency, Lumi-LinQ standard and Lumi-LinQ emergency configurations, the range supports applications ranging from straightforward handrail lighting schemes through to installations requiring automated emergency testing and remote monitoring.

Manufactured from steel and offering IP66 ingress protection with up to IK10 impact resistance, the enclosures are designed for demanding exterior environments while providing straightforward access for installation and maintenance.

For projects utilising TRT Lighting’s Lumi-LinQ lighting control platform, dedicated enclosure options support centralised monitoring, reporting and automated emergency testing, helping reduce maintenance requirements and simplify compliance with emergency lighting regulations.

The launch forms part of TRT Lighting’s continued investment in the Altura range, providing customers with a more complete illuminated handrail solution, from the handrail itself through to the supporting control infrastructure.
