A40 Hanger Lane Tunnel

Following the successful installation of the Verso LED tunnel lighting system in the A406 Fore Street Tunnel, TfL (Transport for London) automatically chose the same system for the Hanger Lane refurbishment on the A40 leading in to Central London. Due to physical constraints within the tunnel, a bespoke optical solution was sought to maintain the existing cornice mounting arrangement whilst also providing a highly uniform, low glare experience for the road users.

Being integrated with a full DALI lighting control system, light is delivered to the carriageway and walls in complete synergy with the prevailing external ambient weather conditions.
